Top 15 Places in the world for Scuba Diving

From the Caribbean Sea to the icy cold waters of the North, Scuba diving can be enjoyed in many ways. Swimming next to Giant Sea turtles, exploring coral reefs or visiting old ship wrecks, diving offers a way to enter into new and unknown territories.

This is off the beaten path  in Brazil but here you will find lots of life among the blue waters. You’ll be able to swim with turtles, dolphins, and much more. With over 7000 kilometers of coastline, numerous islands and an untold number of shipwrecks in local waters, Brazil is, indeed, one of the South America’s best diving destinations. More and more areas of the Brazilian coastline are being turned into sanctuaries or aquatic parks, particularly for diving activities and preservation of marine life. There are official groups to protect the proliferation and habitats of sea turtles (TAMAR) and the Peixe Boi, or Sea Cow, a salt-water cousin of the Manatee. Numerous locations off Brazilian shores are favored by dolphins, and whales come to give birth to new calves in the warm, Brazilian waters between June and October.

Thailand has a number of famous dive sites: Phuket, Ko Tao, Similan Islands, and the Surin Islands. In fact, you can pretty much dive anywhere in the country, though the best diving is near Ko Tao and up near the Similans. Moreover, Ko Tao is a cheap place to learn to scuba dive. Thailand’s Andaman coast extends for 870 km from the Surin Islands on Thailand’s border with Burma to Tarutao National Park (setting of “Survivor Thailand”) bordering Malaysia. Hundreds of islands are reached by boat from Phuket, many of them uninhabited and fringed with spectacular coral reefs. The Similan Islands national marine park, to the Northwest of Phuket, is one of the best scuba diving destinations in the world – liveaboards, day trips and overnight tours are all available. Palau features land locked marine lakes, accessible from the sea through tunnels beneath the island’s steep shorelines, are home to rare jelly fish, anemones and soft corals. Palau’s famed “Rock Islands” are a collection of rounded, foliage-covered isles which seem to float above the surface of the water. A boat trip through them will reveal a number of magnificent white sand beach hideaways perfect for a secluded picnic or adventurous overnight stay.
Palau’s most popular dive site, Blue Corner,  is recognized as one of the best in the world due to its concentration of marine life, whilst Jacques Cousteau considered Ngemelis Wall, commonly known as Big Drop-off, to be one of the best dive walls in the world. Just a few minutes away, German Channel is known for its regular sightings of manta rays, which come in and hover over rock outcroppings inhabited by tiny cleaner wrasses.
Throughout Micronesia divers can encounter an abundance of marine life in just about every imaginable colour and shape. The seas are inhabited by hundreds of types of hard and soft corals, anemones, colourful sponges, countless varieties of shellfish, manta rays and pelagics.
It is common to see 30 – 50 grey reef and whitetip sharks, eagle rays, hundreds of schooling barracuda, thousands of blue trigger fish, moray eels, lion fish, schooling humphead parrotfish, nudibranchs, several turtles and a leaf fish all on one dive.

The Barrier Reef is 185 meandering miles (298 km) of unspoiled beauty. The reef is like a gigantic wall running parallel to the coast.
Between the mainland and the reef are shallow, sandy waters with numerous mangrove-covered islands (cayes). Hard corals, gorgonians, sea fans, tunicates, and shellfish of amazing variety populate Belize coastal waters, but the predominance of one in a particular stretch of reef may give that area its name. Similarly, there are areas where grouper are known to shoal, others where large stingray are prolific or where the diver may encounter a whale shark.

UPSR 2009: 5A PMR 2012: ?

PMR 2012 hanya tinggal 236 hari lagi kalau ikutkan 'Countdown' dari Portal Rasmi Kementerian Pelajaran Malaysia bermakna tarikh PMR akan bermula pada:
Ujian Bertulis 9-11 Oktober 2012 (Selasa hingga Khamis)
  15 - 16 Oktober 2012 (Isnin hingga Selasa)

Majlis Penyampaian Anugerah Cemerlang UPSR


Mamaz risau pulak dengan anak dara Mamaz yang nak hadapi PMR tahun ni sama ada dia dah bersedia atau belum? Walaupun dia pernah mendapat 5A dalam keputusan UPSR dulu tapi itu semua pun dengan usaha yang amat keras,itu baru UPSR...dapatkah lagi melihat kegirangan yang sama pada tahun ni?















Inikan pulak peperiksaan yang lebih besarkan? Oleh itu, Mamaz rasa dia patut lebih berusaha keras dari masa dia darjah 6 tu. Mamaz harap kalau tahun ni dia rasa kami agak 'strict' skit, moga dia faham yang Mama dan Papa dia ni sedang membantu dia untuk lebih berusaha agar cemerlang.

Sedikit Coretan untuk beliau:

Adik,
Mama faham yang adik rasa penat sekarang sebab kena belajar untuk PMR sekaligus belajar berdikari.
Mama dan Papa bukan berniat nak menyiksa anak kesayangan kami cuma ini adalah untuk kebaikan adik.
Kami pun kesian sebenarnya tapi demi masa depan adik kami juga perlu tahankan hati ni.

Adik,
Penat Lelah yang adik rasai sekarang ini adalah bayaran yang adik perlu bayar untuk kesenangan dan kegembiraan adik kemudian hari. Kami tak dapat apa-apa dari kejayaan adik tu tapi sekiranya anak kami berjaya dalam hidupnya,kami dapat merasakan kelegaan hati kami kerana usaha kami mendidik anak terasa terbalas dan kami yakin hidup anak kami akan lebih baik dari kami.

Adik,
Kami takut sekiranya adik tak berjaya dalam pelajaran dan hidup ni,adik akan menghadapi kesulitan apatah lagi sekiranya kami sudah tiada lagi dalam dunia ini. Adakah insan lain selain dari ibu bapa yang boleh sudi membantu atau adakah insan lain akan mencaci dan mengeji anak kami?
Kami tak nak tengok anak kami mengutip sampah, membasuh pinggan di gerai2 atau meminta sedekah demi sekadar ingin mengisi sesuap nasi. Luluh hati kami sekiranya itu jalan yang adik pilih setelah kami penat mendidik dan berdoa untuk kesejahteraan adik.Untuk itu diri adik sendiri juga perlu bersungguh-sungguh untuk berubah, berdoa dan berusaha seperti:

Sebagaimana firman Allah s.w.t: dalam surah ArRad Ayat 11:
Ertinya: “Sesungguhnya Allah tidak akan merubah nasib sesuatu kaum itu, melainkan mereka berusaha merubah nasib mereka sendiri”.

Panik: Pengsan Dalam Tidur Ke?

Assalamualaikum,
Hari ni Hatimamaz betul2 berdegup kencang sebab panik.
Nak tau kenapa?

Biasalah rutin Mamaz mengejutkan anak dara sorang tu untuk pergi sekolah.(kadang2 dia yang kejut Mama dia,hehe!). Dia memang senang bangun pagi so memang tak susah pun nak kejutkan dia just buka lampu bilik then panggil nama dia pahtu mesti dia buka mata and jawap '5 minit jap ma".

Tapi pagi ni Mamaz tgk jam dah menunjukkan 6 lebih tapi dia tak bangun2 lagi so Mamaz pun pergila buka lampu and panggil nama dia...tapi takde jawapan(plg kurang pn balasan dgn mengeliat pn ok dah!)
Mamaz pun terus pergi gerak2,tepuk2 pipi dia tapi still tak bangun...OMG!

Apa patut Mamaz buat ni? Mamaz usik segala badan dia which is dia memang penggeli tak leh sentuh badan dia skit pun...tapi tak gerak gak...lepas tu Mamaz tgk perut dia ada tak alunan turun naik tapi Mamaz tak sure bergerak ke tak....pahtu baru perasan yang tangan die sambil pegang tisu dekat dgn hidung.

Mamaz alihkan tangan die and letak jari kt hidung dia tapi tak rasa kuar nafas cuma rasa panas...apa lagi terus la panggil Papa dia untuk kejutkan dia...lepas Papa die kejutkan dia barulah mata dia bukak skit.

Tak lama lepas tu tetiba die kata 'Mama,nak panadol...kepala adik sakit!'....
Mamaz kata 'Mana boleh perut kosong lagi nak makan panadol so Mamaz buatkan air milo suh die makan roti krim. pahtu Papa die tanya 'G sekolah tak?',dia tanya 'napa Mama tak kejutkan awal?'...

Bayangkanlah yang Mamaz dah kejutkan separuh mati dari awal tadi dia boleh tak sedar?
Hmmm...panik betul Mamaz pagi ni terus lambat g keje...tapi takpelah demi anak kn?
